Why do you bathe your cat? You wash off natural oils the cat produces, and potentially cause more harm than good. Dry skin is a common by-product of bathing a cat. Why do it? Cats bathe themselves very nicely.

Because everytime he gets out, he comes home with filth all over his body. Also, the neighbor's cat has fleas and he needs to be clean for us to de-flea him. And this has to be done right away because I'm alergic to fleas. He's not allowed out but sometimes (well, most of the time) he escapes.
